As an associate solicitor, Lynn has extensive experience of defending clients against the most serious charges that can be made against a person. She instructs for High Court and Appeal cases that include drugs, sexual offences and murder. Her caseload takes her to courts the length and breadth of Scotland - from Aberdeen and Elgin to Skye, across Central Region and down to Dumfries & Galloway. She is highly experienced in leading domestic assault and sexual offences cases.
Lynn works tirelessly in the Sheriff Court where she also deals with road traffic offences, working to save clients’ licences (and often their livelihoods too) through skilful advocacy and precise knowledge of road traffic law; she regularly presents exceptional hardship proofs and special reasons to achieve a result. Lynn is equally adept at securing early removals of driving disqualifications to help clients get on with their lives and improve their life chances.
Her approach is founded on rigorous preparation – from dealing with expert witnesses in possession and supply cases, to detailed consultations with mobile phone and social media experts, through to general witnesses to alleged offences.
